Job Summary
Create and execute comprehensive test plans for customer projects within our industrial sector, coordinating quality processes and identifying critical functionalities for manual or automated testing. Develop end-to-end test solutions covering security, performance, and other requirements while challenging existing development practices to improve software quality. Work directly with customers to identify needs and present solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on technically challenging projects utilizing the latest technologies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of practical experience in software development, testing, and quality assurance
- Experience with testing tools such as Robot Framework and Playwright
- Experience with version control systems (Git or similar)
- Experience with DevOps environments (Jenkins, Azure, AWS, or similar) and CI-based test automation pipelines
- Strong understanding of different testing methodologies
- Ability to take end-to-end responsibility for project quality assurance
- Capability to independently build and maintain test automation environments
- Understanding of the use of AI in software testing and its potential applications
- Ability to evaluate which tests should be automated and which are best performed manually
- A proactive and independent working style, with the confidence to identify and communicate areas for improvement from a testing perspective
- Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and developments in software testing
- Experience in consulting, customer-facing work, and project-based environments
- Confident communication with customers
- Excellent project management skills
- Fluency in both Finnish and English, both written and spoken
- Valid right to work in Finland
- Ability to work at customer's premises in Tampere approximately one day per week
- Ability to work remotely
- Ability to work at the Tampere office
- Ability to work at the Espoo office
- Availability to start in the role during the autumn
- Ability to pass a security clearance check conducted by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service
