Job Summary
QA Lead responsible for steering a global QA team from Seattle, hybrid start, leading test strategy and automation adoption using Azure DevOps. Drive test planning, automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium), CI/CD integration, defect tracking, and QA metrics. Lead cross-cultural, distributed teams, deliver high-quality releases, and provide hands-on automation guidance while coordinating with business stakeholders and product teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 10+ years QA experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps and its integration into development lifecycles
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium)
- Experience working in multi-cultural, distributed teams
- Solid grasp of test planning, execution, and defect management
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., Azure)
- Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of software development and database issues
