QA Lead – Functional QA & Release Quality Management

Job Summary
Senior QA Lead responsible for owning QA execution and release quality across ongoing releases. Designs complex test strategies and failure scenarios, analyzes issues across Linux, AWS, and container platforms, drives sanity/regression/end-to-end testing, leads database testing for edge cases, defines and reports QA metrics for release readiness, and mentors QA team members while collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Release teams. Communicates release readiness, risks, and go/no-go recommendations, with demonstrated hands-on experience in web/mobile/API/DB testing, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, and a track record of leading QA ownership and delivering data-driven quality status.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of Functional QA experience
- QA Lead or release ownership experience
- Strong understanding of QA metrics and reporting
- Hands-on experience across web, mobile, API, DB, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills
- Experience using AI-based productivity tools
