Job Summary
This QA Lead role requires an experienced QA engineer with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years leading QA activities and testing teams. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in testing card services, particularly with debit and/or credit card platforms, and possess knowledge of QA processes. Strong database and SQL skills, as well as experience with integrated applications, are essential. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and can manage multiple tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in QA engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in testing Card services like TSYS, FD
- Debit and/or Credit Card platform, systems, operations and product knowledge
- Minimum 4 years of experience in QA Lead activities, projects and teams
- Experience with QA processes and testing methodologies
- Extensive testing experience with integrated applications
Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of the banking card service products
- Extensive software integration testing experience of both internal and vendor products using up-to-date technologies
- Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong database and SQL knowledge
- Experience in Testing Tools like HP Quality Center
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Experience validating high quality consumer facing applications
- Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization
- Experience in product/solution for banking, payment, and/or financial applications
- Domain knowledge in the Retail Banking area (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to engage with 3rd party vendors and test integrated vendor software
