Job Summary
QA Lead role to drive quality strategy across enterprise applications in the energy/utilities sector, leading automation delivery and test execution for UI, API, and integration testing. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites; collaborate with product owners, developers, analysts, and operations to define test coverage and acceptance criteria; oversee test execution, defect triage, and quality metrics; build automation solutions aligned with Agile/DevOps and CI/CD pipelines; identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and coverage; mentor QA team members on testing best practices, standards, and tools. Requires strong Selenium, Java or Python, TestNG/JUnit, API testing, and CI/CD (Jenkins) experience; preferred familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, REST Assured, and enterprise systems in energy/utility environments; ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in QA, test automation, or software testing.
- 3+ years in a QA lead or senior automation role.
- Strong experience with Selenium, Java or Python, TestNG/JUnit, API testing, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience designing scalable automation frameworks and maintaining regression test suites.
- Background in utility, energy, oil & gas, or related regulated enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, defect management, and release processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
