Job Summary
QA Lab Analyst based in Cedar Rapids, IA (on-site) performing analytical testing on in-process samples and finished products, preparing reagents for lab testing, operating and maintaining lab instrumentation, recording and communicating test results, applying aseptic techniques, and supporting investigations to ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, GMP, Kosher, and Halal standards; requires a Bachelors (or higher) in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Chemistry or related field and 1–3 years in an industrial lab; strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to work both independently and with a team.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing laboratory environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities effectively
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership in daily tasks
