Job Summary
QA Intern at UPS oversees the Quality System status in the distribution center and ensures compliance with GMP, drug, medical device, and local regulations. Responsible for training staff, writing and revising SOPs, conducting facility inspections and recordkeeping, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, and communicating with clients during external audits. Will liaise with Health Canada officials during regulatory audits, support NCR/change control processes, provide QA-related information, and assist in proactive quality-system improvements. Includes QPIC designation duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science related field (or internationally comparable degree) required
- Quality Assurance experience - Preferred
- Pharmaceutical, healthcare or food industry experience - Preferred
- QPIC/AQPIC designation - Preferred
