Job Summary
QA Software Engineer specializing in functional and automation testing for cloud-based managed services. Responsibilities include defining test strategies, test specifications and plans, developing automated test scripts for web and API testing, executing manual and automated tests, reporting defects with steps to reproduce, performing basic data validation via SQL, maintaining test documentation, and mentoring other QA engineers. Requires foundational automation knowledge, web testing basics, API testing with Postman, SQL, Agile practices, and a willingness to learn mainframe-to-cloud migration; preferred experience with Selenium, Protractor, and scripting languages.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in: Automation & Code Programming Basics (Java basics, HTML/CSS selectors), Postman, Selenium concepts; Basic SQL; Agile/Scrum familiarity; Proactivity and teamwork; Willingness to learn mainframe terminal basics; Familiarity with test frameworks (Selenium, Protractor) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell, JavaScript) preferred.
