Job Summary
Ensure compliance of Lab QA/QC procedures per SGS Global QA System and MS ISO/IEC 17025 requirements by conducting internal audits and coordinating external audits from authorities and customers. Manage the Quality Management System by documenting Procedures, SOPs, and WIs, while communicating with local authorities for accreditations. Lead root cause investigations for non-conformities and customer complaints to prevent recurrence, and provide quality and regulatory advice to Sales and Laboratory teams. Coordinate proficiency testing and inter-laboratory comparisons to ensure competency, and facilitate communication improvements through regular meetings and team calls. Troubleshoot and establish SOPs for LIMS, liaising with IT and Global Supports to enhance productivity. Adhere to SGS Business Principles, Quality Policy, and HSE requirements, and perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Science, Chemistry or related field from recognized university/college
- Knowledge in MS ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
- Able to understand/knowledge of standard test method or procedures
- Good in communication, read and write in English and local language
- Acts quickly and decisively
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (such as: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, & etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in internal audit or relevant analytical laboratory testing activities is an advantage
