Job Summary
Design and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica IICS, building scalable data pipelines that integrate databases, APIs, and flat files. Implement data transformations, cleansing, and enrichment logic while optimizing jobs for performance. Execute test strategies, perform source-to-target validation, and develop automated queries to ensure data quality. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, support UAT, and manage defect tracking. Maintain technical documentation and adhere to data governance standards. Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in ETL development and data testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Cloud Data Integration)
- Proficiency in SQL for both development and data validation
- Experience in data warehousing concepts (SCDs, star/snowflake schemas)
- Strong understanding of ETL testing methodologies and QA lifecycle
- Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and profiling techniques
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with IICS Data Quality (IDQ) or similar tools
- Exposure to test automation frameworks for data pipelines
- Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation and validation
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in data engineering
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
- Ability to manage dual responsibilities across development and QA
- Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
- Proactive approach to identifying risks and improving processes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
