Job Summary
QA Engineer to join a London-based WealthTech squad, focusing on automated testing to reduce manual checks in a microservice architecture. Responsibilities include planning and executing QA tasks, expanding automated test codebases, collaborating with product, development and QA teams to improve testability and requirements clarity, and championing AI-assisted testing. Required skills include Java/Kotlin, API and UI testing (Selenium/Selenide or Playwright), API tooling (RestAssured/Swagger/Postman), JUnit/TestNG, SQL, and experience with performance/monitoring tools like JMeter and Sentry/Elasticsearch. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer
- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin
- Hands-on API testing experience (HTTP, JSON, XML)
- Experience with RestAssured/Feign/Swagger/Postman
- UI testing experience with Selenium/Selenide or Playwright
- Experience with TestNG/JUnit
- Strong SQL/database concepts
- Familiarity with Sentry/Elasticsearch
- Performance testing knowledge (JMeter or Gatling)
- Understanding of OOP principles
- Experience with AI tools to boost productivity in code writing, debugging, and test case generation
- Ability to plan, design, and execute QA tasks per timelines
- Experience contributing to test documentation
- Ability to lead or take initiative when required
- Strong communication and collaboration in a small team
