Job Summary
QA Engineer role to define and execute test strategies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality software across web, API, and mobile platforms. Collaborates closely with developers, product managers, and designers to deliver reliable solutions and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment. Requires hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, Cypress, CI/CD (CircleCI), SQL, and strong analytical/problem-solving and communication skills. Nice-to-have: insurance industry experience, ISTQB certs, knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS), programming/scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript/Python), and familiarity with low-code or AI-based automation tools.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing
- Experience with Cypress or similar testing frameworks
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms
- Hands-on experience with automated test scripts and CI/CD (CircleCI)
- SQL querying skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Experience working in an Agile environment and contributing to CI processes
