QA Engineer

Job Summary
As a QA Engineer on the Release Engineering & Quality Assurance team, you will execute and review tests to ensure the quality of Trener's software releases. Responsibilities include performing manual tests on software and robotics hardware, documenting failures, and developing automated test plans. You will work closely with the engineering team to investigate issues and help improve quality processes. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, programming skills in Linux and Python, and experience with 6-DOF robot arms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to details
- Programming experience with Linux shell scripting and Python, specifically ROS2
- Experience with 6-DOF robot arms from major manufacturers
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in relevant engineering discipline
- Technical writing and/or presentation experience
