Job Summary
Develop comprehensive test plans and execute manual and automated testing for web-based SaaS applications across UI, API, database, and end-to-end workflows. Design and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, integrating regression and performance tests into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline. Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA or TestRail while collaborating with developers to resolve issues and advocate for shift-left testing practices. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance QA best practices. Ensure system reliability through load, stress, and scalability testing alongside security vulnerability assessments. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or other test automation tools
- Strong expertise in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Locust, or Gatling
- Knowledge of database testing (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum/Kanban methodologies
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript)
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent certifications
