QA Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated QA Automation Engineer to join Proofpoint to help ensure high-quality software delivery. You will build automated tests using Python, contribute to tests for APIs, AI providers, backend services, and end-to-end scenarios, and help integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. You will perform manual and automated testing of new features and bug fixes, identify and track bugs, participate in code reviews, and learn best practices in software quality. You will also explore AI-assisted testing, expand test coverage with AI tools, and collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teammates while continuously growing your skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Python programming
- Understanding of software testing concepts (manual or automated)
- Familiarity with version control (Git)
- Strong willingness to learn and grow in QA automation
