Job Summary
Design and maintain test plans, cases, and scenarios for web and mobile client-facing applications. Develop automated test scripts for front-end and APIs using Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, or Postman. Conduct permutations, combinations, and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases. Monitor CI/CD regression pipelines and track bugs from identification to resolution. Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on acceptance criteria and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews. Requires 5+ years in QA, hands-on UI and API automation experience, and knowledge of Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Hands-on experience building UI automation using Cypress and Playwright
- Hands-on experience building API service test automation using Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, or Postman
- Strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows and best practices
- Deep knowledge of QA fundamentals, software testing best practices, and standard test management tools such as Zephyr or TestRail
- Demonstrated experience working effectively within Scrum and Kanban frameworks
- Demonstrated experience working in a Fintech, Wealth Management, or Financial Services firm
