Job Summary
Own QA end-to-end for key product areas by defining test strategy, building automation, and ensuring release quality. Design and maintain deterministic automated tests across API/integration, end-to-end UI, regression, and load scenarios using Jest/TypeScript, Playwright, and k6. Convert manual suites into automated coverage, integrate tests into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and manage flaky tests to keep CI green. Partner with engineering to catch issues early and raise the quality bar across the team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in automated QA, ideally in an SDET or QA-ownership capacity
- Strong hands-on coding in TypeScript and/or Python
- Proven depth in API/integration testing of microservices using a code-based framework — Jest/Supertest, pytest, REST Assured, or similar
- Solid experience with E2E UI automation (Playwright / Selenium)
- Experience owning a regression suite — selection, maintenance, and triage
- Load/performance testing experience (k6)
- Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Git-based workflows
- Demonstrated ownership and agency — you've led QA for real software (API, UI, integrations, regression, load)
- Background in enterprise software or a cloud/SaaS startup selling to enterprises
Desired Qualifications
- Experience testing conversational AI, voice/telephony, RAG/knowledge-base, or channel-integration products
- Exposure to agentic / LLM-system testing (model-graded evals, guardrails, eval datasets)
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes/Helm and AWS
- Observability-driven debugging (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Security or compliance testing exposure, ideally in a regulated/enterprise (banking, telco, insurance) context
- Experience with owning test suite for Desktop / Mobile application
