Job Summary
QA Engineer (m/w/d) in Vienna leading automated testing efforts for healthcare software. Execute tests within ORBIS RIS and related products, develop and implement test strategies and plans tailored to project needs, create and maintain automated test suites using Playwright, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Perform integration, regression, load, and manual acceptance testing; analyze system designs to identify test gaps and strengthen testing approaches; document test results and communicate outcomes with developers and stakeholders to ensure alignment with quality goals. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure broad test coverage and mentor team members on QA best practices. Requires at least 3 years of QA or software development experience focused on automated testing, strong German and English skills, and familiarity with CI/CD and large-scale team environments. The position offers a permanent contract and a base gross annual salary of €55,500 for 38.5 hours per week, with potential overpayment depending on qualifications/experience; located in Austria (Vienna). Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software development with a focus on automated testing
- Very good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
- Proficient with modern testing tools (e.g., Playwright)
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests into the pipeline
- Experience working in large teams on scalable, complex systems is a plus
