Job Summary
Senior QA Engineer III at Outliant responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, combining manual and automated testing, and leading quality initiatives across web applications and APIs. Will mentor junior QA engineers, drive improvements in QA processes, and collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Proven experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with at least one programming language for test automation (Python, JavaScript, or Java)
- Familiarity with Selenium (JavaScript) and Playwright for automation
- Strong background in Web Application and API Testing
- Performance testing experience (JMeter, Lighthouse, or similar)
- Version control experience with Git
- Basic understanding of UI/UX testing and UX principles
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in leading a team that significantly influences project outcomes and enhances team practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks and creating/maintaining automated test suites
- Ability to design and implement risk-based test plans and strategies
- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and leading QA initiatives
- Familiarity with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, Lighthouse) and security testing collaboration
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
- Remote collaboration experience in global teams is a plus
