Job Summary
Conduct functional, API, integration, and release validation activities to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Design and execute end-to-end testing, including UI automation with Selenium or Playwright and API testing using Rest Assured, while maintaining test cases and traceability between requirements and defects. Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to integrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines, perform defect triage, and support release readiness sign-offs. Execute smoke, sanity, and deployment validation within Docker-based environments and utilize dependency mappings to identify affected services. Requires 4+ years of QA experience in microservices and Agile environments.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications and enterprise software
- Strong experience with UI, Functional, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
- Hands-on experience with test automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright, or similar automation frameworks
- Good programming/scripting knowledge in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for automation development
- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA
- Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Good understanding of backend data validation
- Understanding of cloud-based applications and microservices architecture
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience testing web, SaaS, cloud, or microservices-based applications
