Job Summary
QA Engineer in Amman responsible for manual regression, smoke, and exploratory testing; monitoring release and bug lifecycles; creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scenarios; owning product quality and supporting high-quality service delivery; creating, maintaining, and monitoring automated tests and daily test reports; participating in code reviews and automation grooming; performing load and performance testing for high-load systems; leveraging tools like JIRA, TestRail, Azure DevOps, Git; applying SQL skills; advanced automation with JavaScript/TypeScript (3+ years) and Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, Jest, Axios; understanding CI/CD and Agile practices; experience with REST APIs and messaging systems; fintech/CRM and related prior experience considered Nice to Have; perks include hybrid work options and competitive benefits; Equiti is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing types, methodologies, and processes
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and Azure DevOps (or similar platforms)
- Strong knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of databases
- Automation experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (3+ years)
- Experience with Playwright(Cypress or Selenium), Jest, and Axios
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the role of test automation within them
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience testing REST APIs and messaging systems
