QA Engineer

Job Summary
QA Engineer with a strong manual and automated testing background to ensure product quality across the CodeSignal platform. You will create, execute, and maintain test cases and QA documentation; perform functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing; investigate, document, and track defects; design, write, and improve automated tests; analyze automation coverage and identify opportunities for improved tests; debug failed tests and flaky tests; explore product areas to determine scenarios best suited for automation versus manual validation; collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to clarify requirements and validate quality; leverage modern QA tools and AI tools to enhance testing, debugging, automation, and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in QA, including both manual and automated testing
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing methodologies, and SDLC
- Experience with test case design, and QA documentation
- Experience with functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, WebdriverIO, or similar
- Experience with tools such as Asana, GitHub, Qase.io, or similar
- Strong bug investigation, reporting, and communication skills
- Advanced English proficiency
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity, ownership, and proactive problem-solving
