QA Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for enterprise applications supporting Engineering, Procurement, Material Management, and Project Execution workflows. Design test scenarios from BRDs and user stories, validate APIs using Postman, and perform database checks with SQL to ensure data consistency. Identify, document, and track defects in Azure DevOps or JIRA while collaborating with developers on root cause analysis and retesting. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and stand-ups, contribute to automation initiatives with Selenium or Playwright, and maintain comprehensive test documentation and quality reports. Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle
- Hands-on experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT Testing
- Strong test case design, execution, and reporting skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to understand and validate complex business workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on enterprise applications with multiple user roles and approval workflows
- Experience with defect tracking and project management tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for database validation
- Understanding of system integrations and enterprise application architecture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Client Stakeholders
- Strong ownership and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or other automation frameworks
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
- Experience with Mobile Application Testing
- Exposure to Engineering, Construction, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Procurement, Inventory, or Project Management domains
- Familiarity with Primavera, SAP Ariba, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms
- Exposure to AI-assisted testing tools and modern Quality Engineering practices
