QA Engineer-CAD Testing

Job Summary
Prepare customer-oriented test specifications, create and validate test data, and set up test environments including CAD and Teamcenter installations. Execute manual, performance, usability, and system integration regression testing for translators while contributing to automated functional and performance testing processes. Author project acceptance test cases, perform pre- and post-integration testing, and conduct PR analysis and validation to help the development team reproduce issues and validate fixes. Validate product installers, licenses, and monthly updates, manage test suites, and prepare release assessment reports. Review requirements and functional specifications from a testing perspective, execute automated tests, perform failure analysis, and report findings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
- 4+ years' experience with QA and testing of CAD/PDM/PLM product
- Excellent analytical skills
- Expert level knowledge of one or more of leading CAD and PLM systems like NX, Solid Edge, Creo, CATIA V5, Solidworks, Teamcenter, Teamcenter Visualization
Desired Qualifications
- Prior QA experience with NX and Teamcenter
- Knowledge about CAD software quality assurance process both manual and automated
