QA Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain QA processes and procedures across the software development lifecycle while supporting continuous improvement of automation coverage and testing efficiency. Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and scenarios for manual and automated activities, contributing to the development and maintenance of automated test suites using modern frameworks. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure product quality and release readiness, analyzing results to identify defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution. Use JIRA and Xray to manage test cases, track defects, and prepare accurate QA reports and documentation to support delivery and audit readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Product, and DevSecOps to enhance product quality while ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with Java programming language
- experience with automation tools such as Selenium
- preferably with Serenity BDD
- Experience with Cucumber
- experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) approaches
- Working knowledge of JIRA
- Working knowledge of Xray for test management, defect tracking, and reporting
- Understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration testing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
