Job Summary
QA Engineer role focusing on AI-driven quality assurance for a marketplace-centric digital ecosystem. Responsibilities include manual, exploratory, and regression testing; owning and expanding Cypress end-to-end automation; building API test automation with Postman or Playwright API; basic performance testing; monitoring and investigation using Sentry/Hotjar and AWS tracing; collaborating with engineering, product, and operations; and shaping AI-enabled QA workflows and infrastructure. Also contributes to QA documentation, cross-functional collaboration, and advocating best engineering practices. The role emphasizes autonomous work, ambiguity tolerance, leadership mindset, and ensuring release quality and reliability, with a fully remote work setup.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with API test automation (Postman, Playwright API)
- Strong experience with Cypress for end-to-end automation
- Understanding of performance testing fundamentals
- Experience using monitoring and user-behaviour tools like Sentry or Hotjar to investigate issues and spot patterns
- Experience with AWS tracing
- Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate QA and validation workflows
- Ability to operate autonomously and thrive in ambiguity
- Strong stakeholder management and communication
- Leadership mindset and ability to say no to maintain focus
- Experience with B2B platforms, tech QA environments, or marketplace-style systems
