QA Engineer

Job Summary
Manage product quality across material incoming, slitting, and outgoing processes to ensure activity remains in control. Coordinate the material chain by analyzing process problems, managing supplier claims, and following up on credit notes and risk scope. Respond to manufacturing technical inquiries proactively and timely while supervising QA technicians to handle quality issues and systems. Develop and implement quality systems and procedures to meet targets, lead inspection aid improvements, and control non-conforming products. Support quality system audits and manage YNN and NNN rolls. Carry out special assignments as assigned by the supervisor or plant manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years experienced in QA field
- Thoroughly knowledgeable on database administration and systems testing and auditing processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent auditing and statistical skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
- paper/film/packaging industry is advantaged
- Certified Auditor or Certified Quality Analyst preferred
