Job Summary

QA Coordinator responsible for ensuring products, services, and systems meet established quality standards by monitoring processes, inspecting outputs, and proposing improvements. Responsibilities include facilitating the implementation and maintenance of the quality system, reviewing quality requirements, inspecting receiving/in-process/final outputs, coordinating with client inspectors, addressing non-conformances, coordinating corrective and preventive actions, maintaining calibration of measurement equipment, and conducting internal audits. Requires leadership in coordinating people and training, strong problem solving, adherence to ISO 9001, API Q1, ASME standards, and ability to travel ~10% of time. Safety-sensitive position at Forum Energy Technologies (FET) based in Odessa, TX; travel and on-call support to production and customer requirements. Also emphasizes compliance with safety rules, regulatory standards, and cross-department collaboration (engineering, suppliers, and quality-related functions).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ industry experience in Quality Management
  • Experience with ISO 9001, API Q1, ASME Sec VIII Div 1, ASME Section IX, ASTM, ASNT
  • Experience maintaining or authoring QMS procedures and policies
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of working time
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work extended hours and on-call to support production and customer requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with ISO 9001, API Q1, ASME Sec VIII Div 1, ASME Section IX, ASTM, ASNT (and other applicable manufacturing quality standards)
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Experience maintaining or authoring QMS procedures and policies
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of working time
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Adaptability to changes and ability to work extended hours and on-call
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
