QA Coordinator (Bilingual)

Job Summary
Conduct and evaluate welder performance qualification tests, perform material receiving and in-process inspections, and verify dimensional conformance using precision measuring tools. Interpret blueprints and drawings to confirm specifications, initiate containment activities for nonconformances, and verify welding machine calibration. Support corrective actions for quality issues, maintain documentation at workstations, and provide training on weld procedure specifications. This full-time on-site role in Houston, TX operates two shifts with potential weekend coverage. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English, hold a high school diploma, and possess five years of GMAW experience with two years in quality. AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience with GMAW (mig welding)
- at least 2 years in a quality role
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to recognize critical quality characteristics
- Knowledge of basic measuring tools such as tape measures, protractors, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Knowledge in using various visual weld inspection tools
- Attention to detail

- Full-time on-site position
- Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds

Desired Qualifications
