Job Summary
QA Co-op position to build and maintain automation tools for deployment and testing; work with embedded firmware, front-end UI applications, and testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, chaos engineering); gain experience with Jenkins, Python, and Selenium; collaborate with developers and QA leads; 8-month term in Pitt Meadows, BC with a hybrid work arrangement; reported to QA Manager; responsibilities include test automation, test planning, code quality assurance, organization and planning, monitoring and reporting, and collaboration and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- Final-year undergraduate student in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong experience with Python, Java, Bash scripting
- Familiarity with C/C++, Selenium, and real-time embedded systems is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) is an asset
- Must reside in the Greater Vancouver area and be able to commute to Pitt Meadows (vehicle required)
- Full-time in-office may be required during onboarding
