Job Summary
Define and maintain QA standards, methodologies, and best practices while establishing test strategies for functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Own test plans, test cases, and test data strategy to ensure adequate coverage and risk-based testing, integrating quality gates into CI/CD pipelines. Lead and mentor QA engineers, plan resource allocation, and conduct reviews to support skill development and promote a culture of quality ownership. Drive test automation strategy, collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD integration, and monitor execution metrics to validate acceptance criteria and release readiness. Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to clarify requirements, resolve quality risks, and support go/no-go decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET) roles
- strong background in test automation and platform development
- Leadership experience, ideally leading QA teams for more than a year
- Deep expertise in various testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TestRail, CI/CD integration, API testing)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across different teams
- A proactive and innovative mindset, always seeking ways to improve quality, efficiency, and developer experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading test framework migrations
- Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and security testing tools
- Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA
