Job Summary
Manual Tester role requiring robust knowledge in Airline Cargo domain and extensive experience in software testing (6-10 years). Key responsibilities include defining functional and technical approaches for testing, developing test models and cases, executing automated backend regression tests, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure testability. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, microservices, and testing tools such as Microfocus ALM, JIRA, and ReadyAPI is essential. Experience with automation tools is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in software testing
- Robust knowledge and prior experience in Airline Cargo domain
- Prior work experience in Agile scrum or SAFe
- Experience in requirement understanding and user story grooming
- Ability to understand the functionality of the application under test
- Testing Tools: Microfocus ALM, JIRA, ReadyAPI, Enterprise Architect
- Prior experience in backend service testing with ReadyAPI or Postman, API debugging/root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud database
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GIT etc)
- Working experience in defect management process and tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in automation tools (Cypress, Selenium) will be nice to have
