QA Back-End Tester (Linux/Unix)

Job Summary
Design, implement, and execute end-to-end test strategies for Nasdaq's Trade Surveillance platform, analyzing system requirements to identify testing scope, risks, and mitigation approaches. Drive defect resolution by performing root cause analysis, raising issues, and tracking them through to completion while contributing to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks, documentation, and release engineering processes. Collaborate with global teams to support integration, regression, and system testing across product releases. This role requires 6–8 years of experience in server-side or back-end software testing with strong proficiency in Unix/Linux command-line environments. Located in Sydney, Australia, this permanent, full-time position offers a hybrid work environment of at least two days in-office and requires Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
