Job Summary
Write clear, effective test cases and define quality criteria for features across product areas. Automate tests using modern frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright while performing manual testing to validate complex workflows and edge cases. Implement QA automation as a core part of the product development lifecycle, integrating it into CI/CD pipelines. Own quality outcomes through test coverage, automation reliability, and reporting by partnering with Product and Engineering teams to improve QA processes. Leverage AI tools and techniques to accelerate testing, generate test cases, and increase coverage while advocating for quality best practices across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.)
- Strong foundation in writing and executing manual and automated tests
- Comfortable authoring test cases, defining acceptance criteria, and improving test strategies
- Ability to implement QA automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using or integrating AI tools to accelerate testing and improve quality
- Excellent communication skills with a bias for action and sense of urgency
- Ability to evaluate severity and urgency and escalate effectively
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Product and Engineering
- Familiarity with software development processes, Git, and Agile workflows
- A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement
