Job Summary
Design, implement, and improve testing processes by collaborating with developers and manual QA to understand business and technical requirements. Analyze functional and non-functional needs to execute both manual and automated test cases while developing and maintaining test frameworks and scripts. Identify defects from automated suites, perform manual testing for complex scenarios, and document test plans and reports. Assist in root cause analysis, debug issues with developers, and advocate for testing best practices to support the transition from manual to automated testing. This role balances 50% manual and 50% automated testing within the iGaming industry, requiring 4+ years of QA experience including 2+ in automation.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in QA
- 2+ years in test automation
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Playwright, Cucumber)
- Familiar with MySQL/MariaDB and REST API testing
- Proficient in JavaScript or similar
- Solid understanding of SDLC and agile
- Hands-on with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience using Jira, Xray, or similar tools
- Detail-oriented
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, K6) is a plus
- Experience with or interest in using AI development assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex ect.
- iGaming industry experience is a plus
