Job Summary
Write and maintain automated tests across iOS and Android SDKs using XCTest, XCUITest, and Compose-compatible tools. Build and extend existing automation suites, CI pipelines, and test coverage as new features ship. Execute test runs on real-device cloud tools, triage failures, and report issues. Collaborate with the automation team, manual QA engineers, and feature developers to keep coverage current. Update GitLab CI YAML pipelines, Bash scripts, and Gradle configurations. Document test cases, known issues, and maintenance notes. Requires 3+ years of mobile test automation experience and fluency in SDK code. Onsite in Los Angeles.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in mobile test automation (or mobile development moving into test automation)
- Mobile test automation in at least one mobile stack — iOS (Swift, XCTest/XCUITest) or Android (Kotlin, Compose Test/Espresso/UI Automator); able to read the SDK code well enough to test it
- CI/CD & Scripting: Familiarity with GitLab CI and YAML pipelines, Bash scripting, and Gradle
- Ability to read, understand, and extend an existing automation framework and test suite
- Git and standard version control workflows
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI coding tools/assistants to speed up test writing and maintenance
