Job Summary
Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for UI, API, regression, integration, and system testing using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium WebDriver with Node.js. Maintain automated test frameworks and scripts while integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines and Git-based source control. Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to support test planning, execution, and defect tracking through resolution. Contribute to quality reporting and continuous improvement initiatives for enterprise-scale systems and modernization projects. This 10-month remote contract in Edmonton requires availability during 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM Alberta business hours. A criminal record check may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with QA test automation using Cypress or Playwright
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with Node.js/NPM automation frameworks
- Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of Git-based source control
- Experience with UI, API, regression, integration, and system testing
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and test planning
- Experience with defect management and quality reporting
- Ability to work with enterprise-scale systems and modernization initiatives
- Availability to work during Alberta business hours
- Must be available to work 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM Alberta Time (MT)
- Remote position supporting the Alberta/Edmonton location
