QA Automation, Co-Op

Job Summary
QA Tester/Co-Op responsible for reviewing requirements, collaborating with feature developers to ensure testability and quality throughout the development lifecycle; plan, design, document and execute tests for software and hardware products; identify, reproduce, and report defects with detailed configuration and steps; lead or assist in diagnosing and reproducing product failures; create and maintain documentation on test and development operations; review automation reports and address failure points in existing automation code. Enrollment in an accredited university undergraduate or Master's program is required, with experience in Python or Ruby and familiarity with OO design patterns. Preferred skills include CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, source control tools, and experience in software and/or hardware testing.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment in an accredited university undergraduate or Master's program
- Experience with Python, Ruby or another scripting or programming language
- Familiarity with architectural and OO design patterns
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Docker containers
- Experience in source control management tools
- Experience in software and/or hardware testing
- Ability to review and analyze product requirements and provide feedback on clarity and testability
- Ability to plan, design, document and perform tests for software and hardware products
- Ability to reproduce and report defects with detailed steps
- Strong collaboration skills within a product development team
