Job Summary
Directs, plans, performs, and reports independent oversight activities, including selecting areas for quality review, developing oversight plans, and evaluating results. Documents activity findings, interviews personnel, and verifies the adequacy of corrective actions while preparing oversight reports. Participates in pre- and post-oversight conferences and initiates deficiency documentation with follow-up on responses. Requires acceptance of an Outage position and ERO position with twenty-four-hour availability, subject to callouts seven days per week. Hybrid/remote schedule contingent on business need.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED or equivalent
- 10 years of technical experience in Operations, Operations Support, Engineering, Maintenance, manufacturing or construction at a nuclear facility
- Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access if needed
- Successfully complete General Employee Training (GET) as required for position
- Environmental and physical requirements are subject to crouching, stooping, bending, twisting and/or lifting up to 30 lbs
- Ascending/descending stairs
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Spending considerable time in front of computer monitors
- Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed
- Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week
- Travel may be required
- May be required to carry a phone
- Hybrid/Remote work schedule between Site and an alternate work location
- Alternate work locations require adequate technology and a solid ergonomic setup is present
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or related Bachelor of Science
- Without the above degree, 6 years of technical (Operations, Operations Support, Engineering, Maintenance, manufacturing or construction) experience/training
- 10 years of STP Operations, Operations Support, Engineering, Maintenance, manufacturing or construction experience
- Current or Prev RO License
- Current or Prev SRO License
- Quality Lead Auditor
