Job Summary
Review GMP documents and reconcile batch records, certificates of analysis, and product labels for QC disposition. Coordinate product releases to ensure compliance with GMPs and implement confirmatory testing for imported goods. Monitor warehouse reports, verify proper handling and storage of products, and assess stability programs and damaged/returned goods disposition. Assist with deviations, CAPA investigations, change controls, and adverse event reporting. Support transportation validation, temperature mapping, and self/external audits while maintaining accurate inventory records. Adhere to client and company SOPs, including staff training compliance. Fluent in French and English with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Microbiology required. Relocation to Mississauga is expected in 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years in a GMP environment
- A Bachelor's degree preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a diploma in a related field
- Diploma/certificate in Quality Operations of Pharma products
- A solid background and understanding of Chemistry and Microbiology is mandatory
- Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to communicate fluently in French and English, both verbally and in writing, to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada for business trips
- Relocation to the Company's Mississauga office following our planned office move in 2026
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Pharmaceuticals, Natural Health Products, and Medical Devices is an asset
- Experience working directly with pharmaceutical products is an asset
- Experience working in a contract laboratory is considered an asset
