QA Analyst

Job Summary
Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing covering functional, regression, performance, and integration scenarios. Identify, document, and track software defects through issue-tracking tools while collaborating with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and provide feedback. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure effective communication across teams. Analyze test results, provide actionable feedback, and assist in troubleshooting issues during development and post-deployment to ensure products meet established quality standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of QA experience, and proficiency in Python or Java.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA)
- Familiarity with ERP Systems (e.g., NetSuite)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Continuous Learning - Understanding of the rationale behind the necessity to continually learn and grow and the ability to seek performance feedback and identify approaches to improve own performance and that of others
- Customer Focus - Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions
- People skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
