Job Summary
Analyze user stories and requirements to develop detailed test cases for immersive VR learning applications. Perform hands-on manual testing of Unity-based VR platforms and validate internal tools and automation for seamless integration. Document and track defects, collaborate with developers and designers to ensure alignment of quality objectives, and validate bug fixes to maintain product integrity. Provide detailed documentation of test plans, cases, and results while continuously improving testing processes. This temporary backfill supports coverage during a leave of absence for a pioneer in virtual reality learning design.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Experience testing in-house tools and automation
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with VR technology and Unity XR plugins
- Understanding of user experience principles in VR environments
- Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment
- Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB)
