Job Summary
QA Analyst responsible for ensuring a high-quality user experience for web and Windows-based applications. You will develop, maintain and execute manual test cases, test scenarios and test plans, identify and reproduce defects, and report results to cross-functional teams. The role requires collaborating with development, business, and project management to validate features, support Agile Scrum processes, and ensure testing aligns with design specifications and business requirements. Strong attention to detail, analytical/problem-solving skills, and experience with multiple testing types (functional, regression, smoke, cross-browser) across browsers and platforms are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-6 years of recent professional Software QA experience
- Knowledge of QA processes, methodologies and procedures
- Understanding of database structure and working knowledge of SQL
- Experience testing both Windows and Web-based applications
- Familiarity with testing types and techniques: black box, functional, regression, smoke, cross browser
- Experience working in Finance industry (Plus)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for defect tracking
