QA Analyst

Job Summary
Lead initial production approval by evaluating merchandise, reviewing pd samples, and auditing current production. Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QA procedures, create Jewelry Inspection Guidelines, and perform XRF Analysis on incoming components and finished goods. Conduct diamond scans on first production goods, research special projects for product defects, and audit in-process and finished goods at contractors and suppliers. Work closely with Repairs, Returns, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to assist in defect documentation and sample library transitions. Reports to the Director of Quality in Lyndhurst, NJ. Requires 4+ years of jewelry experience and knowledge of manufacturing and inspection processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years jewelry experience
- Experienced working as part of a team
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and inspection processes
- Attention to detail with ability to work on long-term and short-term projects, including the ability to inspect merchandise for corrective action purposes as required
- Strong organizational and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Location: Lyndhurst, NJ
- In office Monday through Friday 8:00a-5:30p EST (occasional Saturday needs)
Desired Qualifications
- GIA or similar gemology certification
- Bachelor's degree in related field
