Job Summary
Write and maintain manual regression scripts for .NET and Web applications to ensure quality code is released into production. Interpret business requirement documents, define test scenarios, and provide accurate test plans and estimates to drive project design. Complete the test phase against pre-defined quality standards while monitoring error queues in test and production environments to investigate root causes before communicating with the development team. Liaise with stakeholders to design and implement scripts, clearly report defects, and replicate bugs raised by the wider business. Work within an Agile methodology (Sprint and Kanban) while trialling new testing tools and approaches.
Required Qualifications
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
- Demonstrable experience working within an Agile Methodology (both Sprint and Kanban)
- Good working knowledge of all relevant testing techniques & processes
- Experience of testing web-based systems, including the user interface/web screen and web services
- Experience of testing windows based applications
- Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops and Branching
- Able to cope with working on multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to interact confidently with both technical and non-technical persons
- Demonstrable experience of test planning and reporting
- Commitment to customer centricity across all areas of role and interactions with internal and external customers

- Must undergo a basic DBS check prior to starting employment
Desired Qualifications
- .Net C# Knowledge, ability to understand basic code e.g. IF statements
- SQL Knowledge, ability to understand basic queries/code
- Experience of automation testing i.e. Ranorex
- Experience of stress and load testing
- Experience of security/vulnerability testing i.e. AppCheck
- Basic understanding of .Net error logs
