Job Summary
Test all aspects of assigned applications to ensure upgrades, patches, and enhancements operate effectively in production environments. Execute component, system, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing, including functional, automated, security, and UAT aligned with approved plans. Report, document, and track defects through resolution while collaborating with developers, business analysts, and senior managers. Assist in standardizing testing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. Identify and escalate risks impacting delivery timelines. Develop and maintain test deliverables including test plans, strategies, and defect management documentation. Requires 5+ years in QA with FinTech experience, proficiency in Java or Groovy, and hands-on tooling with JIRA and Selenium. Full-time role in Mountain Standard Time with comprehensive benefits including day one health coverage and 15 combined vacation and sick leave credits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Proven experience in FinTech software testing
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern testing methodologies, particularly for web applications
- Proven experience developing and maintaining automated tests
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and defect-tracking systems such as JIRA
- Proficiency in Java or Groovy programming languages
- Extensive experience in defect triage, escalation management, and conducting thorough root cause investigations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Management
- Availability to work within the United States Mountain Standard Time (MST) time zone
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Selenium and the Spock Framework is an advantage
