Job Summary
The Q-Store Clerk is responsible for checking out customers, stocking shelves, operating the cash register, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma, be at least 18 years old, and possess excellent communication skills. Previous retail and customer service experience is preferred. The role requires work during nights, weekends, and holidays, and employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment
- High school diploma or its equivalency required
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers
- Must be able to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
- Must be able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Two years retail experience preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
