Job Summary
Director leading Glovo's Q-Commerce in Poland, owning the strategy for category growth, profitability, and customer experience across multiple retail verticals; responsible for translating strategy into executable commercial, operational, and marketing initiatives, driving top-line growth, optimizing partnerships and pricing, and leading a high-performing, cross-functional team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role requires strong P&L ownership, strategic communication, and ability to collaborate with HQ, Marketing, Product, and Finance to deliver the Q-Commerce roadmap while upholding Glovo’s leadership principles and values.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments such as startups, scale-ups, or dynamic digital native corporations.
- Experience belonging to the Country leadership team, not only leading your team but the whole organization.
- Proven track record of owning and scaling a P&L and driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
- Proven experience as a commercial director who has successfully led and closed complicated negotiations, both personally and through your team.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, comfortable building business plans and translating insights into actionable initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams with coaching, empowerment, and accountability.
- Bias for action and entrepreneurial spirit — thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and builds from zero to one with resilience and focus.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
- Fluent English and Polish are a must.
