Job Summary
Gather product requirements and translate them to technical solutions while providing task estimates, developing, debugging, and writing unit tests. Determine design methodologies, implement, deploy, and maintain backends, and create multimedia applications using appropriate authoring tools. Define and develop REST APIs, ensuring integration with relational databases and scripting in SQL and PL/SQL. This role involves building a new sports social media project for a startup in Barcelona, where you will grow within a small team including Product Owners and designers. Starting date is ASAP, with remote work possible for those outside Barcelona.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of software development experience
- Must have experience of Python
- UI development experience using HTML, Javascript Framework, CSS, and Ajax
- Experience with Web Services development using REST/SOAP and JSON/XML and integration
- Experience with relational databases as well as scripting in SQL, PL/SQL
