Job Summary
Enhance or automate trading operation systems and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and reliability. Take ownership of major operational issues by identifying root causes and resolving problems promptly. Work closely with Operations and Development teams to diagnose and resolve complex live production issues. Collaborate with vendors and Operations to design, integrate, and operationalize backend workflows enabling onboarding new products and business initiatives. Automate manual processes by developing practical, maintainable scripts and tools. Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and workflows. Provide occasional after-hours support and participate in testing activities when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3-8 years of experience in trading support or a similar technical role
- Strong technical expertise in Linux environments and Python
- Clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced trading environment
- A practical mindset with a passion for building simple, scalable automation solutions
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to enhance systems while working within real-world
